I'm beyond thrilled to announce that Owl Kids Books (publisher of Chirp and Chickadee magazines) has acquired my new middle-grade series.
The three books in the series will follow the adventures (and mis-adventures) of Clara Humble--a ten-year-old girl with big ideas and (despite what her last name suggests) a very healthy opinion of just how truly awesome she is.
Each book will also feature a series of illustrations and quirky comics by the very talented Lisa Cinar, which are meant to look as if Clara drew them herself. I don't want to reveal too much, but they mostly involve a computerized super-cat battling a balloon animal poodle for world domination. So, you know, serious stuff. :)
